A single rose, reminding them of,
Their commitment and never ending love.
Of their dreams, and the promises made,
And how their feelings will never fade.
The way he knew, right from the start,
That she was the one, who held the key to his heart.
How he stops at nothing, and goes the extra mile,
For one more chance, to witness her smile.
She pressed the rose, so it would withstand time,
To remind her of, the greatest love she will ever find.

My boyfriend gave me a rose on Valentine's day, and it was beautiful. I kept it until right before it looked like it was going to die, then while I was pressing it, I thought up this poem.

All my drawings are done in 100% ms-paint, never photoshop.
I still have the rose actually. I pressed it in my medical dictionary. It's a really big book! I wanted to laminate it, that way I could take it out and look at it. But I'm not sure that you can laminate it without destroying it.
